Presidents Message:
- Our annual awards banquet was held in January and I’d again like to congratulate
everyone who won an award and all those who made the UKC Top Ten. We are
currently getting ready for another America’s Family Pet Expo and I would like to thank
everyone who volunteered to help. I’d especially like to thank Roxanne Bailey for all her
help with setting up and helping manage the IG booth. This is a very important public
education venue that is extremely well attended. So it is important for us to be there, be
seen and promote UKC. While AIGC has continued to slowly grow, our biggest hangup
has been the same as the rest of the country – money. So this year I’d like to work
on fund raising. Our next show will be October 2011 in Bloomington, CA but it is our
goal to support the UKC Premier but without enough funds, we just cannot do
much involving the Premier. We have managed to cover our shows and come out in
the black. Right now we need to decide the best way to raise our bank account and the
board will be addressing this issue. If anyone would like to help, please don’t hesitate to
contact me. We always welcome volunteers and help. Thanks to all of our members
for your continued support.

AIGC News

President’s Message:
AIGC has come a long way since UKC recognition and we continue to grow. As 2009 comes to
a close, we have a lot to be thankful for. We had another successful America’s Family Pet Expo
in April. The Expo is an important public education venue and AIGC was again represented.
Our show in October was another success. We had a great entry and everyone loved our new
ribbons. I’d like to thank everyone for all their hard work, which helps make AIGC the club it is.
Show Report:
Our October show had a total entry of 35 dogs (5 breeds). This is a great entry for a limited
breed show on a Friday evening. The breeds represented were:
American Hairless Terriers, Alaskan Klee Kai, Chinese Cresteds, Rat Terriers and Standard
Poodles.
Best of Breed Winners:
AHT – Nekid & Kalon’s Distinctly Devine (Pamela J. Orlina & Lynn K. Poston)

Group 2, and finished her UKC CH title.
