I’m starting with my favorite of this list! I put all my more delecate brushes in this 59 hole brush holder. Disclaimer: I don’t recommend storing wet brushes in any holder like this. Leave wet brushes flat to dry so that water doesn’t work into the ferrule and potentially loosen up the glue holding the bristles in place.

This one is not likely to last quite as long as the solid wood option, but for the price I think it’s a great way to organize. Especially if you put a sealer over it like I did on mine! I used ModPodge to seal and glue mine together. This one does need to be assembled. 

• Clips right on the easel (depending on the type of easel you have)
• Holds a handful of longer brushes
• Easy to move around and have quick access at the easel

This is made for drummers to hold extra drumstics, but us artists can use it too! This is a strong clamp and it has two little holders to keep a few of your longer brushes easy to grab. 

• Good: Waterproof
• Good: Holds a lot of brushes
• Bad: Often arrive broken so play it safe and order from Amazon where returns are easy

The engineered wood type won’t last long if you get it really wet, so why not get an acrylic one? Because they come broken or cracked more often than not in my experience. If you get a good one they’re cool, but it’s a pain to try and get a good one.
