In music, we call it a “cover” when we remake another musicians song. In art we don’t really have a good word for it, so I’m calling this week’s painting demonstration my “cover” of van Gogh’s Almond branch painting.
I’ve taken his original design, kept the branch shape the same but added my own twists to everything else, including adding damask print and a raven!
