YouTube Painting and Drawing Videos

At the beginning of 2011 I recorded my first time lapsed painting video. I intended to start recording just to have something fun to add to my website. I had NO idea that my YouTube channel would grow as it has! With so much encouragement from you guys, I am now uploading four new videos a week.

• Tuesdays: Video critiques

Every Tuesday I take one of your original paintings or drawings and talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the piece and offer tips on how to improve your work even more.

• Wednesdays: Speed paintings, drawings, and tutorials

Every Wednesday I have a new speed painting or drawing. My subject matter normally consists of wildlife, surrealism, and portraits, but I have a little of everything mixed in. These are really helpful for artists in understanding how I layer each medium. These videos rotate between oil painting, acrylic painting, graphite, airbrushing, and colored pencil.

Every weekend I have a new artist vlog where I not only offer art tips and tricks, but also encouragement and life lesson’s I’ve learned over the past 19 years as a professional artist.
