This week I have some tips on drawing a realistic cheetah in graphite. I’ve started with a great reference photo from http://www.wildlifereferencephotos.com if you’re interested in drawing this exact cheetah yourself. I’m working on Stonehenge vellum paper and using Ain 4b hi-polymer lead in a mechanical pencil (I can’t find the 4b anymore. The “stein” line is not the same). A variety of derwent and prisma graphite pencils, shading tools, a tombow mono eraser, and kneaded erasers.
