I’m trying out the new Powder Blender from BrushandPencil.com again, this time on sanded paper! I’ve used Polychromos and Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor in this Orca, space, and Earth demonstration on Fisher 400 sanded paper.  This is a larger colored pencil piece than I normally work on, and it only took me a few hours with this blender. If I worked without this blender, this would have taken me about 3 weeks! I’m still amazed at how much work I can get done in a short amount of time with this product.

I did find that I really don’t like using it with my wax based pencils though. It works beautifully with my oil based Polychromos and Lyra Rembrandt Polycolors but the wax based pencils are best kept for final layers that don’t need to be blended smoothly.
